SeriousHP builds a Ferrari 360 Modena turbo with 650whp

SeriousHP has created a new upgrade package for the Ferrari 360 Modena which is allowing the Italian supercar to produce a total output of 791 HP.

In a world where downsizing seems to be the key to everything in the automotive industry, the aftermarket specialists at SeriousHP have proved once again that the power of a supercar can be easily doubled. According to the Texas based tuner, the project car in question, a Ferrari 360 Modena, has been upgraded with the 67-66 Precision Turbo package, which is adding a reinforced transmission, a Pro-Efi 128 engine management, an upgraded fuel system, a new turbocharger and much more, including the forged internals.
The total output produced by the Ferrari 360 Modenaís 3.6 liter V8 engine is now standing at 791 HP (582 kW), which is quite impressive, considering the fact that the regular unit is producing a total output of 405 HP (298 kW). SeriousHP didnít announce a price for these upgrades and most likely they wonít become available for owners of the Italian supercar. You can watch the Ferrari 360 Modena upgraded by SeriousHP in action in the video posted below.

Sick build indeed. So much nicer seeing boosted Ferrari's vice Lambos. Lambos are way too overdone lately. A nice change from the usual.

There's a good reason that the Lambo's are more common, it's a better platform. You take a stock Gallardo & add a turbo kit, you can 700 WHP on pump gas. For this 360 to get 650 WHP, it required building the motor with forged internals. The Lambo obviously benefits from the Volkswagen/Audi German-over engineering (engine, chassis, drivetrain, reliability) & lower initial costs (lower MSRP vs. Ferrari).

BUT obviously none of the Euro platforms can compare to the reliability & abuse the Domestic options offer -- Ford GT, Dodge Viper, Chevy Corvette, Cadillac V's

Yep, it's cheaper to do with the Gallardo and you get all wheel drive and you can have more power on the stock internals.

If it wasn't a big cost difference I'd do it with the F430 though. Fun to be different Click here to enlarge

I've always wanted a 360 and a Gallardo in the same driveway.
