    • Someone is swapping an E9X M3 S65 V8 with DCT into a Mini Cooper

Why do this? Because you can. Not to mention it's awesome. Mini Coopers do not exactly have large motors and while 4.0 liters may not be huge for a V8 it sure is huge for a Mini engine. The S65 V8 arguably looks right at home in the engine bay.

Whomever is doing this also swapped in the DCT transmission. Somehow, they made it fit.

This seems to be an all out race build with the roll cage, digital cluster, steering wheel, stripped interior, brake upgrade, etc.

As for more details all BimmerBoost found were the photos. Hopefully whomever is responsible for this swap does a video and shows the Mini in action with the S65 V8.

EDIT: EDM Racing in the UK is building this Mini and you can follow the build here: https://www.facebook.com/vinithev8mini/

BimmerBoost will write an update when they finish and fire it up.
