    • Doc Race sends their E90 N54 build to Ghassan Automotive after sitting for 3+ years at AD-Engineering

You will find mixed reviews for AD-Engineering but many bad, bad stories. AD-Engineering actually was removed from BimmerBoost after multiple bad customer interactions were posted up and BimmerBoost waved hundreds of dollars in outstanding vendor fees so that the funds could be put toward resolving customer issues.

Well, issues persist and Doc Race is the latest victim. John Pham, the owner of Doc Race, is a stand up guy. He was one of the first to support BimmerBoost and my own interactions with him have been nothing but positive. A complete 100% professional with quality products.

So, you can be certain this is not on him. The car sat for 3+ years at AD-Engineering with thousands spent and nothing to show for it:

Well, BimmerBoost knew who screwed John and the details must be posted. Too many people have been screwed for nothing to be said.

In all fairness, Andy has done some good N54 work as have his guys at AD-Engineering:

That does not excuse all the bad customer service though. A good company is consistently good, not just one day out of the month.

This car will get sorted as it is receiving personal attention over at Ghassan Automotive. Will the parts paid for (Syvecs...) ever show up though?

Well the details are public as they should be regardless. We can't have these things disappear for others to fall victim.

BimmerBoost wishes John luck in getting his check.

I'd been wondering what happened to this car. Hope the situation gets sorted out. Really disappointed in all the shady vendors.

2019 is going a great job of flushing out the crap.

John contacted me to say it was not fair to lump in Horsepower Barn. Although they share a location, Horsepower Barn had nothing to do with this.

        Edited for clarification.

That makes a little more sense I guess, maybe? I follow Horsepower Barn on IG and they seem always busy and working on Supra's, GTR's, etc.

Between Vargas coming out with a 15" brake kit and this website for 8.8 rear end conversion bracket the reason's to shop ADE are diminishing.

Personally, no. So for all I know they aren't good either I guess. There is someone who lurks the forums though that's worked with them, just don't remember who that was right now. It'd be nice if a vendor created a kit like ADE did but I don't think sourcing the rest of the parts would be too difficult.

Well I don't know them either but their products sure are interesting. I'll have to write them up.

That was great to see. I ordered ADE's but haven't tested it yet...
